International presence and new contacts strengthen the company’s global projection in the smart cities sector
BARCELONA —14/11/2025— ATP Lighting has concluded its participation in the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025 with very positive results, recording a higher number of visitors compared to the previous edition.
The increase in contacts, especially among city councils, municipal technicians, and national engineering firms, confirms the fair’s growing consolidation as a key event in the smart cities sector.
Innovation and collaboration within the Smart City ecosystem
Although the congress takes a global approach to the Smart City ecosystem—where lighting represents just one of its many areas of interest—ATP’s participation proved particularly valuable for exchanging technical knowledge, spotting new trends, and strengthening strategic partnerships with industry professionals.
Based on this year’s experience, ATP reaffirms its vision that luminaires are evolving into strategic electrical connection points. Beyond their traditional function, they are becoming smart infrastructures capable of integrating sensors, cameras, and other devices that provide valuable data for managing and developing connected urban environments.
In this context, the company will continue to drive innovation and technological adaptation, developing solutions that combine energy efficiency, connectivity, and sustainability.
ATP’s products attracted notable interest due to their ability to integrate different control systems, from basic configurations to advanced remote-management solutions applicable in Smart City environments.
International reach and market diversity
The ATP stand also welcomed professionals from over twenty countries, including Belgium, Chile, Colombia, South Korea, Dubai, Slovakia, France, India, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Lithuania, Mexico, the Philippines, Portugal, Puerto Rico, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Uruguay.
This international diversity strengthens the company’s global projection and confirms the growing interest in its solutions across different markets.
Summary and outlook
Overall, ATP views its participation in the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025 very positively, both in terms of the volume and quality of interactions and as an opportunity to continue positioning itself as a benchmark in the development of lighting solutions adapted to the cities of the future.
