The balance between performance and health
Recent studies suggest that prolonged exposure to cold color temperature lights can cause retinal cell damage and alter the biological clock, generating health complications that seem to increase the risk of developing certain types of cancer.
Aware of this new reality, from ATP we propose the gradual replacement of 4000 K and 5000 K LED, both with a strong blue light component, with the balanced 3000 K LED. This kind of LED achieves a color rendering index superior to the previous ones and, being a light source with a warm color temperature, prevents the hazards mentioned above.
Likewise, for the lighting of rural areas or intended for rest and relaxation, we have the ultra-warm color temperature LED 2200 K, which continues to provide an excellent color rendering index.
