Guillermo Redrado, new Vice President of International Affairs of the Spanish Lighting Committee (CEI)

A profile with extensive international experience to strengthen the CEI's global reach.

PAMPLONA –23/01/2026– The Board of Directors of the Spanish Lighting Committee (CEI) has confirmed the appointment of Guillermo Redrado as the new Vice President of International Affairs. Redrado succeeds Professor Manuel Melgosa, who has led this area since 2019 and has been a key figure in the Committee’s internationalization process.

With a solid track record in international projects and sector representation, Redrado will bring his expertise to strengthen CEI’s collaboration with organizations and entities worldwide. He has been a member of the CEI Board of Governors as Delegate for the Northern Zone since 2013, a role in which he has enhanced the Committee’s visibility and promoted cooperation with professionals and organizations both in Spain and internationally.

Redrado combines this new role with his position at ATP Iluminación, where he serves as Vice President and leads projects in technological innovation, energy efficiency, and sustainability. His international profile allows him to collaborate with companies and administrations in multiple countries, expanding the global reach of the Spanish lighting sector.

Redrado also highlighted that his priorities include strengthening CEI’s ties with the CIE (International Commission on Illumination) and consolidating the Committee’s active participation in major international forums. He emphasized his interest in improving coordination and communication among CEI’s eight divisions in Spain, promoting knowledge exchange and strategic alignment. Finally, he expressed his intention to foster and reinforce relationships with Spanish-speaking countries, encouraging collaboration with organizations and entities in the lighting sector.

With this appointment, CEI strengthens its leadership team by incorporating a professional with extensive experience and a distinguished international profile, who will continue to drive innovation, excellence, and the global projection of the Spanish Lighting Committee.
