Campus ATP is born: the space for technical knowledge in outdoor lighting

ARRE —25/4/2025— ATP Lighting launches Campus ATP, a new section dedicated to technical knowledge dissemination in the field of outdoor lighting.

Campus ATP will cover key concepts for specifiers, engineers, and technical specialists, exploring topics ranging from the fundamentals of lighting design to energy efficiency, sustainability, and the protection of the night environment. Through concise, rigorous, and accessible articles, we will address issues such as lighting uniformity, color rendering index (CRI), color temperature and its environmental impact, protection against LED surge events, and IP and IK protection ratings.

We inaugurate this new phase with a fundamental topic: “Light pollution: what it is and how to control it,” a practical guide to understanding one of the major challenges of responsible outdoor lighting.
