ATP, present at Expo Lighting America 2019

PAMPLONA —22/2/2019— ATP, the specialist in the design and manufacture of immune to corrosion LED outdoor lighting made from technical engineering polymers, will present its newest solutions at Expo Lighting America (ELA) 2019, on the stand 217. This year's edition, whose central theme will be the technological evolution and its application in public lighting, will be held on 5, 6 and 7 March at the Citibanamex center, in Mexico City, and it will bring together thousands of professionals of the sector.

This year, ATP will offer two conferences within the ELA Light Talks, related to LED technology and its use in public lighting. The first one, entitled LED technology: design, architecture, light pollution, and visual perception, will be given by Guillermo Redrado, COO of ATP, on March 6, from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm, in the conference room. The second, Protections against overvoltages in LED luminaires and fundamental concepts in the definition of LED installations, will be offered by Sandra Solán, director of R & D of ATP, and Andrés Armañanzas, head of the lighting department, and is scheduled for the same day 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:20 p.m., in the Workshops room.

"For us, this ELA will be a key exhibition, where the top commercial managers of ATP and part of its technical team will be present. We will show our most advanced products, analyze our finished and ongoing projects, and offer comprehensive lighting solutions for the different scenarios that our clients might raise", said Redrado.

The company, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2019, will also show a documentary about one of its most ambitious projects in recent years: the replacement of all the lighting in the municipality of Valle de Egüés (Pamplona, Navarra) with high-performance LED luminaires including a point-to-point telemanagement system. The commissioning of this new lighting has reduced the electricity consumption of said territory by more than 60 %.

A product with unique characteristics, ideal for the coast

ATP's stand will be equipped with various devices for visitors to test the unique characteristics of all the brand's products, which are ideal for the lighting of coastal areas, parks and hotels: immunity to corrosion, anti-electrocution, maximum protection against vandalism (IK10+) and integral hermeticity (IP66+). So, for example, it will be possible to use a club to check the resistance of the ATP diffusers or see a luminaire of the firm receiving jets of water from all angles to test is sealing.

High-performance LED assemblies with Laminar Heatsink® and Comfort Diffuser® will be displayed, offering the ultimate solution to the main and most recurring problems of diode technology: module overheating and glare.
