Enur Micro, born to reign in the city

The Superurban has arrived

PAMPLONA —18/05/2016— Designed to be the top of its category (suburbans of low and medium heights, up to 19 feet), the groundbreaking street light Enur Micro offers the highest technical performance, cutting-edge appearance and durability with no parallel. Either in LED and discharge lamp versions, everything in it is conceived to achieve standards of excellence: materials of an outstanding toughness that do not require maintenance, devices that warranty total tightness of internal elements –dust, humidity and insects are no threat to the Enur Micro–, maximum efficiency, optimized energy savings and complete clearness.

All this is finished up with a fine esthetic presence, which makes this street light ideal for dressing elegantly a great variety of urban spaces and provide them with a touch of distinction. Furthermore, the equipment takes into account the environment and promotes sustainability: it does not generate any light pollution, and its components are 100 % recyclable. These characteristics, unique worldwide, make the little sister of the Enur family a high-quality street light, extremely versatile and reliable, which also has a 10-year time real warranty –the longest in the sector– even under severe humidity, temperature and salinity conditions. A milestone in the world of public lighting that stands out among any product in its class: the Superurban.

Getting started: technical data and characteristics

Exhaustive engineering work precedes the design and creation of every single ATP product, and the Enur Micro is no exception. Much of its virtues come from the use of leading polymeric material technology, of own and exclusive formulation, that ensure the resistance of the street lights to atmospheric conditions and vandalism. Also, the Superurban has been developed considering reflection, diffusion, transmission and refraction of light to maximize its efficiency. What are, then, its main advantages? What transforms the Enur Micro in an exceptional street light?

Immune to corrosion: Enur Micro's Engineered Technical Reinforced Polymer S7 faces up to any weather adversity. Rain, wind, saltpeter, permanently humid environments, intense sun, highly polluted spaces or areas of extreme toxicity; none of this deteriorates it. The material has been subjected to 3000 hours of UV radiation without showing any color disruption. This is toughness to the max.

Totally anti-vandalic (IK 10+): And virtually impregnable. The street lamp passes without difficulty impact tests over 50 joules, which is more than twice the maximum degree of resistance, IK10 standard, established by the UNE-EN 50102 / A1. Contributing to this resistance, there is the 2.5 millimeters thick high impact Transparent Tropicalized Thermo-Polymer T5 diffuser, also exclusively developed by ATP. This material, treated with chemical polishing technology for maximum transparency and transmittance, has a resistance to collisions 200 times higher than glass. Extreme robustness.

Totally hermetic to water and dust (IP66+): The Enur Micro has several devices that ensure the complete tightness of the street light in any situation –it exceeds widely the IP66 standard–. External agents simply can not penetrate the polymer dome, which means total protection of all the interior elements. This seal ensures constant luminous efficiency, extends equipment life and substantially reduces maintenance costs. The Superurban banishes forever the dust and dirt accumulated in the diffuser, the damp spots and any equipment failure that might result from the lack of tightness. Deterioration is history.

Anti-electrocution (Class II +), maximum safety: Enur Micro's ATP techno-polymers are fully insulating and eliminate any possibility of electric shock upon contact with the street light. They have a dielectric strength of 175,000 volts –60 times higher than required by the UNE-EN 60598-1 standard for Class II–, which makes the Superurban an exceptionally safe product. To perfect its reliability, the street light includes an atmospheric compensation valve –biodegradable zylonite filter– in charge of balancing the pressure differences caused by turning on and off of the light. Also, the electrical wiring has the HAR mark certified by CENELEC and is encapsulated with VO class fire-retardant silicone –self-extinguishing–.

Minimum maintenance: The design has been optimized so that upkeep can be carried out quickly and without using tools. ATP is also the only company in the market whose equipment incorporate a clip system which allows placement without using utensils. Access to the lamp does not require specific tools since it is rapidly performed through a single manually operated lock. This detail simplifies any work inside the lamp post and ensures that the seal is complete. Materials, meanwhile, need only occasional cleaning with water and detergent applied with a sponge. Nothing more: nor paints, or anti-corrosion products, or coatings.

100 % recyclable and respectful with the environment: Environmental conservation and sustainability are priorities for ATP, and that is why the Enur Micro has been built with fully recyclable and eco-friendly materials. Likewise, its design has been specifically conceived to achieve the maximum uniformity in road displays, reduce the visual impact on its surroundings and suppress light pollution.

Photocell (optional): Upon request, the Enur Micro can be provided with a photocell destined to measure the intensity of the ambient light and turn on the lamp only when needed, thereby saving energy.

The Enur Micro is available with discharge lamps HPS and MH, or with LED technology. In the first case –both HPS and HM–, the equipment is offered with two possible starting systems. The standard includes a ballast with thermal protector and condensers with silicone wiring, and also a separate starter to extend the life of the product. The double starting system presents similar features, but it incorporates a switching relay which reduces the power level in order to save energy during the central hours of the night.

The optics chosen for discharge technologies is the revolutionary Laminar Reflector® –the most advanced in the market–, which achieves an outstanding lighting with an asymmetrical wide light distribution, fully optimized. This device is the result of the meticulous work done by photometric engineering: created with the least possible material, the reflector gets, however, a maximum use of light and even competes with LED technology (its efficiency is 82 % compared to 90 % of LED). It is also possible to include dual burner lamps, with an estimated lifespan of 40 000 hours. The devices are available in 35 W and 50 W of power, with a package of up to 5500 lumens in MH of 50 W.

The LED version is offered with LED 35 (3727 lumens) and LED 55 (5197 lumens) modules, either with wide, long or triangular asymmetric optics. For this technology, an electronic constant current driver is additionally provided, with the possibility of adding an adjustment module.
