ATP takes part in the 51st National Lighting Symposium with technical solutions for urban and heritage environments

The company contributed to Spain’s leading lighting event with two technical presentations and the showcase of a landmark project in the host city: the renovation of public lighting in Logroño’s historic center.

LOGROÑO —23/5/2025— ATP participated in the 51st National Lighting Symposium, organized by the Spanish Lighting Committee (CEI) and held in Logroño from May 21 to 23, 2025, as a Gold Sponsor. The event brought together industry professionals to discuss today’s key challenges in public lighting: sustainability, energy efficiency, urban design, and emerging technologies.

ATP’s participation coincided with the completion of a major project in the host city: the renovation of public lighting in Logroño’s historic center, carried out with 2200 K LED luminaires, customized optics, and a highly precise lighting design. The project significantly reduced light pollution, improved visual uniformity, and achieved energy savings of over 70%.

During the event, Guillermo Redrado, vice president of ATP, and Andrés Armañanzas, director of the Lighting Department, delivered two technical presentations:

- Dynamic outdoor lighting: innovation, decoration, and safety in urban environments

A presentation of the Metrópoli Color system, implemented on Avenida Carlos III in Pamplona, combining RGBW dynamic lighting technology with urban functionality.

- Public lighting renovation in Burlada (Navarra): a new way to finance infrastructure

A case study exploring innovative financing models for modernizing municipal lighting systems.

Throughout the symposium, the ATP team shared ideas, experiences, and technical approaches with professionals from across Spain, reaffirming the company’s commitment to efficient, sustainable, and context-sensitive public lighting.

“Our vision is to apply technology that is useful for people, respectful of the environment, and coherent with every urban space. That is the guiding principle behind all our projects,” stated Guillermo Redrado, vice president of ATP Lighting.
